This sheaveless double pulley is a compact, versatile load-management device designed for use with 550 cord and smaller diameter cordage in general outdoor, utility, and rigging applications. Unlike traditional pulleys, it features a sheave-free design with precision-machined through-holes in place of bearings or pins. This creates four independent load paths within a single unit, allowing efficient load distribution while eliminating moving parts that can fail, seize, or collect debris.
The device is machined from a single solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum for an optimal balance of strength, weight, and durability. A hard anodized finish provides corrosion resistance while also reducing friction and wear on cordage during use. The smooth internal geometry is designed to minimize abrasion and allow cords to run cleanly without sharp edges.
Its modular design enables multiple configurations. Units can be stacked to create a snatch-block-style setup, or two devices can be used together to easily achieve a 4:1 mechanical advantage. This makes it well suited for tensioning, hauling, load redirection, and other lightweight mechanical advantage systems where simplicity and compactness are priorities.
In addition to pulley applications, the device can be used as a cord tensioner via the two 1/4-inch through-holes, allowing secure anchoring and controlled tensioning without additional hardware.
Safety Notice: This product is not designed, rated, or intended for climbing, fall protection, rescue, or any life-safety or load-bearing applications involving human support. Use only for general utility and outdoor applications within appropriate limits.
Compact, rugged, and adaptable, this sheaveless double pulley delivers multiple load paths, modular scalability, and reliable performance in a minimal, machined form factor.
