Unlike traditional pulleys, it features a sheave-free design with precision-machined through-holes in place of bearings or pins. This creates four independent load paths within a single unit, allowing efficient load distribution while eliminating moving parts that can fail, seize, or collect debris.
The device is machined from a single solid block of 6061-T6 aluminum for an optimal balance of strength, weight, and durability. A hard anodized finish provides corrosion resistance while also reducing friction and wear on cordage during use. The smooth internal geometry is designed to minimize abrasion and allow cords to run cleanly without sharp edges.
Its modular design enables multiple configurations. Units can be stacked to create a snatch-block-style setup, or two devices can be used together to easily achieve a 4:1 mechanical advantage.
